Responses from the end-of-year cat talk survey!
Has Cat Talk influenced your understanding
of feminism?
“Yes, Yes and YES! Cat talk does an amazing job
at showing you the facts and fundamentals while
still being welcoming and not too negative. It
really is exactly how these sort of issues should be
approached and taught to the general public.”
“I was fairly well-versed in feminism and feminist
theory before the zine appeared on campus, so it has
not impacted me much. But I love thinking that it
might be a gateway to feminism for others!”
“Yeah, it has reminded me that there a variety
feminisms out there.”

Anything else you’d like to add?
“Keep making more!! Fight to keep this on
campus. It’s something IPFW definitely needs.”
“Keep up the good work! I think the mission is
positive, as long as we keep it that way it seems that
the audience can only
grow in size.”
“Cat Talk is an incredibly name and product from an
amazing group of people. I would love to see it
continue even beyond their experience at IPFW.”
“Overall it’s a really great zine.”

“I LOVE what Cat Talk has done for the IPFW feminist
community, but if I’m being perfectly honest, the cat
thing goes a little far. I, and others I know of, avoid
associating ourselves with the zine because it’s just
too into the cat thing.”
