Responses from the end-of-year cat talk survey! Responses from the end-of-year cat talk survey! What do you like most about Cat Talk? What would you like Cat Talk to do more of? “The creativity and collaboration of the people who are included and how t hey express equality to an audience in a welcoming way.” “THE CATS! THE ATTITUDE! THE TIRELESS DEDICATION TO STOMPING OUT SEXISM!” “I like that Cat Talk gets members of the community talking about feminism and societal issues in general. I don’t think there is enough of a progressive dialogue on IPFW’s campus or in our conservative community. I like that Cat Talk has the potential to change that. I also like the casual combination of intellect, art, and humor that embodies Cat Talk.” “The community building that comes with Cat Talk is great! I enjoy the push for an open forum about equality, and the fact that it is student run is awesome!” “Feminist content and wide range of contributors.” “I love how informal it is. It’s a space where almost anything goes (within reason) and each issue is totally unique because of it.” “The zine is so eye-catching and well-designed. Other campus publications do not match the curb appeal and quality of Cat Talk.” “Maybe some hard hitting content but I understand it can’t all be controversial.” “More zine-making sessions, or just general collab events would be fun, that way writers and those interested can meet up and share interests! I would also love to see a blurb about each issues featured cat.” “I think it would be neat if Cat Talk included more localized content. It’s pretty easy to get on the internet and find feminist commentary surrounding a variety of social issues, but not so easy to find perspectives on what’s happening in this city specifically.” “Maybe the inclusion of really simple ideas that people can try to incorporate into their daily lives. Something like small blurbs that can be reinforced to build habits and keep ideals about equality in practice.” “More of every! Make Cat Talk happen forever! Get crazy with it, try new things! Be even more unique!” “Zine sessions” “Other people to share their experiences and the lessons one can take.”
