“ I had a blast and I know I don’ t always meet your expectations...” he started as the shower door opened.“ Need someone to wash your back?” She queried, placing a finger against his lips.“ Are you volunteering?” he asked, as Tanya picked up the soap and washcloth. She began to gently scrub his back and shoulders.“ You do realize we have a big problem,” she said from behind him. The first thought that came to Eddie’ s mind was the science teacher had called to spread a little gossip about the married guy giving Kate’ s legs a nice feel. Somehow the word had already made it back to Tanya if it had not been Brad who called her directly.“ What’ s the problem?” he asked, quickly preparing his defense.“ All the teachers at the school are going to be saying,“ Tell your husband I said, ' great job ' and thanks.”
“ Explain the problem,” Eddie said, feeling relieved.“ I may forget to come home and tell you, so and so said thanks. Then you might run into them later and they may ask,“ Did Tanya tell you I said thank you?”“ I see how that could be a problem, because I may say no she didn’ t pass that message along.”“ Exactly. And there may be a lot of well-deserved accolades you would have missed.” She said wrapping her arms around his waist. Tanya’ s soapy hands began to wander.“ That’ s not my back,” he said, with a smile.“ I think I have a solution to the problem,” she said, moving around to stand before him.“ You have my undivided attention.”
Looking into his blue eyes, she batted her long eyelashes.“ I could say a really big thank you now, and you could just answer that I passed that message along,” Tanya said, as she knelt before him.“ Beautiful and brilliant. What more could a man ask? That would certainly solve the problem,” he said, holding the handrail as she slowly and deliberately offered her many thanks. His knees went weak as he showed her she was very welcome. Tanya exited the shower and prepared for bed. Eddie slowly stumbled to join her. He kissed her goodnight and the term,“ asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow” may have been an understatement.
