“ If you like lobster you must try this,” he said, cutting off a portion of the white seafood and moving it to her plate. John saw her begin to protest.“ There is no way I can eat all this and it is my birthday so we can worry about perfect manners some other time,” he insisted and deposited the piece of grill marked lobster on her plate. The two bottles of wine they shared, complimented the dinner perfectly.“ Desert for anyone?” John asked.“ I have a good idea about desert,” Sam said, looking hungrily at Tanya. John helped the ladies from the limo.“ Before the car leaves, I want to be certain you are okay with what Sam has planned,” John said, holding the door of the car. Tanya did something she had not done in over seventeen years, she kissed another man, as Sam had kissed Eddie.“ Happy birthday John,” she said, and allowed this fine gentleman to escort them inside the mansion.“ I would like to watch two very beautiful women ascend the staircase together,” John said. Sam offered Tanya her arm and they walked slowly up the stairs.“ Magnificent! Tanya I had to see that gown from the back. The photographs did not do you justice,” John stated.“ I told you,” Sam said, over her shoulder. John started up the stairs as the women reached the upper landing. He knelt at their feet and unfastened the delicate footwear.
They stepped into the master suite. John slid the shoulders of Sam’ s gown and allowed the garment to fall to the floor. He turned to Tanya.“ May I?” he asked. Tanya nodded and felt his strong hands gently remove the thin straps from her shoulders and her dress puddled at her feet.“ Please,” he said gesturing towards the bed. Sam took Tanya’ s hand while John found a comfortable chair. Sam sensed her nervousness.“ Make love to me,” Sam said. Those were the words Tanya needed to hear to forget John.
