Junior Scratch / Makey Makey : Musical Adventures

Ages 4 - 7 years

LG When your favorite song comes on the radio , do you sit quietly or do you dance around and play the air drum solo ? In Musical Adventures With Scratch Coding and Makey Makey , we are going to explore how different sounds are created and we will create our own interpretations of common musical instruments like drums , piano , guitar , and even a recorder . We will also create our very own dance program through the use of Makey Makey and Scratch Coding to bring our music to life ! The last day will end with a mini concert from all of our students ! Computer Building : What ’ s In That Box ?

Ages 8 - 14 years

LG Students will get started right away by following blueprints to build a fully functional laptop that will power on . Once the computer is built , students will learn about the inner workings of computer electronic components such as USB and HDMI components and hard-wiring circuits while they traverse through an interactive game of Mindcraft . Introduction to Ski Jumping

Ages 3 - 18 years

LG Learn the fundamentals of the sport in a four week introduction program . Norge Ski Club has five jumps from beginner to advanced . Most equipment is available to use at no additional charge . Junior Civil Engineering

Ages 4 - 7 years

LG Building a house to withstand the Big Bad Wolf is where the fun begins in Junior Civil Engineering . This class is centered on exploring the concepts of building and construction through hands-on exploration and design . Students explore the engineering behind sky scrapers , bridges , roads , and more in this fun and engaging experience . Apprentice / Master Civil Engineering

Ages 8 - 14 years

LG During the Civil Engineering classes , students use the Engineering Design Process to design , create , test , and refine a balsawood bridge designed to withstand the greatest force . They examine several different types of bridge designs and discover how the forces of tension , compression , bending , torsion , and sheer are distributed throughout their structures . My Hands Can Speak Level 1

Ages 6 - 13 years

LG Learn American Sign Language skills using the internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning Signing Times series . In this course , students will be introduced to letters , numbers , colors , greetings , foods , and more .
