The philosophy with the King Power
polo team is similar to the football
side. "We base ourselves as a unit,
as a family. We base ourselves as a
brand, whose motto is PIP – Pride,
Integrity and Performance. Those
three things underpin everything we
do. We take to the field with Pride; we
conduct our business with Integrity;
and that will produce Performance,"
added McCormack.
Football and polo for the Srivad-
dhanaprabha family is a passion, and
much of that drive comes from the fa-
ther of the family, Vichai, "Vichai drives
it, puts everything in place, he gives us
our goals then we go about trying to
achieve them," explained McCormack.
Vichai, who is 58, still plays in
competitive 22-goal practice matches at
Billingbear on a daily basis.
"The entire family is very humble,
yet passionate in whatever they do,
give it 100 percent, but feel that the
limelight and success should always be
given to the team not the individuals
that produce the accolades," added
McCormack.
The Srivaddhanaprabha family, of
Thai Chinese heritage, bought Leicester
from Milan Mandaric in 2010, and look
how far they have come in football. They
have already raised the bar in polo, and
it feels like they are just getting started.
