Pokka Reindeer Hides is an esteemed family-run enterprise founded by Olavi Pokka in 1969. He developed a method to preserve raw hides that consists of salting raw hides in a drum. This method was expanded quickly around the world. In 2001, the family’s son, Harri Pokka, together with his wife Mariela Pokka, took on the company’s activities.
