Fishing Derby Sign-ups: Registration for the 25th annual Kids Fishing Derby (May 31-June 1) will be available every Saturday in April and May from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Walgreen’s in Gardnerville and at Accolades Trophies, 1532 Hwy 395 No. 10 during business hours. Story Time: The Douglas County Public Library, Minden Branch, will host toddler story time for children ages 18 months to 3 years old from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. Preschool story time will start at 11:15 a.m.

GE Family Concert Series: Heartache Tonight (Salute to the Eagles) plays a free concert at Minden Town Park from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Kids Fishing Derby: The Kids Fishing Derby will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
