To
beat the record and cross seven
Eurasian countries, Rainer Zietlow and his team have relied on
the family of Goodyear Wrangler tires. The
harshness of the weather conditions and terrain, including 3,000 kilometers of gravel and
mud on the Kolyma highway (Russia), have
tested the equipment during the 15,200 km
trip. For the Magadan to Yakutsk route, Rainer
trusted the Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure tires with Kevlar, while during the rest
of the trip to Lisbon the Touareg was equipped
with Goodyear Wrangler HP All Weather.
Alberto Villarreal, Director of Marketing for
Goodyear Iberia: “We warmly congratulate
Rainer and his team for his new world record.
We are proud once again to have been trusted! A big thank you to Rainer for having
shown that Wrangler Goodyear tires were the
right choice for this test. “
“We are delighted to have conquered Eurasia with the incredible performance of 6 days,
9 hours and 38 minutes,” said Rainer Zietlow.
“I would like once more to express my gratitude to all sponsors and partners, including
Goodyear, for providing a tire reliable even
in the toughest conditions. I will clearly choose
Goodyear for my next challenge as well. “
