A Day in the Desert
Starting and finishing in the heart of Ensenada in front of the historic Riviera
del Pacifico Cultural Center, the course of the Baja 1000 traveled in a counterclockwise direction through Mexico’s Baja California. The 854-mile course
covered both sides of the peninsula and included four checkpoints and 122
viritual checkpoints. 277 total entries from 33 U.S. States and 18 other countries
battled for a whole day in one of the most extreme deserts on the planet
