Ahhhh the Cag Carp Classic. Cag, (Carp Angler’s Group) who host’s this yearly event, is the largest carp angling group in the USA dedicated to putting the Common Carp on the map as a sportfish in the USA.
Cag host’s a couple of different tournaments each year but this one, the CCC, has always been my favorite. Since this is a fundraising effort for CAG, there is no money to be won. This takes a lot of pressure off of the anglers that is ordinarily there when fishing “big money” events. I have always looked at this event as a “friendly” type tournament but there is a few things at stake here.
