About two years ago, my son was born and I started a new job. I knew then that my fishing time would definitely be cut down…so whenever I had time to go, I had to make the best of it. I decided to only focus on trophy carp, and I knew of the perfect lake to try. I have heard stories of monsters from this lake, but I just needed the excuse to see them for myself. Last year, I got a job contract on that very lake. When we finished the job, I asked the owner if he was selling the house since it was empty. He told me “No I am not, this is our summer house.”
