Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS launch event
On the 7th 0f December 2017 Porsche Sri Lanka took the island by storm at a night event launching the all new Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS. The event took place at the Honey Beach Club, Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo with many distinguished guests making an appearance to witness the unveiling of this glamorous roadster.
The vehicle is a style icon and has been shaped by a great deal of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Targas form and function is evident with its highly distinctive front and the prominently broad rear. The Targa roof opens and closes fully automatically in just 20 seconds. And for the first time the legendary Targa roll bar is finished in black.
Apart from its looks, the roadster is also a beast under the hood with top speeds of 308 km/h and 450 horsepower on both manual and automatic models. The Targa can also switch modes on the steering wheel enabling the driver to access 4 different driving modes. It also comes with all the high tech bells and whistles that is expected in a car of this nature with its multi touch gestures and voice control.
