P a r k i n s o n ’s marches on OCTOBER 9, 2012 Despite bravery and courage, the disease of Parkinson’s marches on and Carla’s symptoms have continued to grow in number and scope. Pat says that he misses their hikes and the physical things they used to enjoy together. It is hard for him to see Carla struggle to do even basic things—like roll over at night. She hasn’t slept well for some time. That is another inconvenience to add to the pile of problems that Parkinson’s throws at you.
