Creative Communications is a
creative company in the business
of being creative.
Chris Thornley, President and Founder of
Thornley Creative Communications will be
the first to say client needs come before the
“latest and greatest” creative approach.
“We treat the client’s money as if it’s our own,”
he said. “And we’re not going to recommend
something we don’t believe will meet their
needs. We’re interested in being here for the
long term and in helping our clients do the
same. So the creative is always focused on
communicating a clear message. It is consistently good work and I’m proud to say
we’ve won a number of awards.”
Together with his team of eight, Chris says
his firm’s strengths are in branding, web
design and development, marketing, and
advertising within the disciplines of: municipal government, not-for-profit, retail and
corporate.

been with us for many years, some from
the very beginning. I’m proud of projects
like Surrey Food Bank, Bard on the Beach
and Tourism Surrey, but I could easily list
twenty more. I’m proud of the reputation
we’ve built and I have to say that I’m proud
we’ve done it while being the ‘good guy.’ By
this I mean, I don’t think we’ve ever had
to compromise on what we believe in and
as a result we’ve been surrounded by good
people and great projects. Mutual respect is
a wonderful thing to have.”
Thornley Creative Communication plans to
continue focusing on clients in Surrey and
the Fraser Valley. The company is active
within the not-for-profit sector where their
designs have been used for such groups as
the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation,
the Centre for Childhood Development,
Surrey Food Bank, Sources and the Surrey
Homelessness and Housing Society.
In fact, just to prove there can be “fun in
fundraising,” Chris leads a band filled with
long-term friends (Agent C and Top Secret)
that has played a number of charity gigs.

their marketing goals. We like to be able to “This January, we raised nearly $5,000 and
