Kindergarten Preparatory Class
Carinya Gunnedah offers an outstanding two or three
day School Readiness Program for your 4 year old in
the year before they commence full-time schooling.
The Prep program develops an appreciation and
enjoyment of the world God has made, stimulating
your child’s natural imagination, curiosity and
eagerness to learn.
Formal and informal learning in the Prep class flows
from a play based program of instruction, exploring
themes and activities arising from the world God has
given us to enjoy. As they approach Kindergarten, Prep
students are introduced to the elements of formal pre-
writing and pre-numeracy skills.
The family environment of a real school community,
with access to all the facilities and professional staff of
a modern, fully equipped school, provides your child
with the consistency and security they need to enjoy
their learning and ensures a smooth transition to
Kindergarten the following year.
