I joined NJ Partnership in summer 2013 as a Researcher. The training programme and level of exposure allowed
me to progress more quickly than I expected, and after 6 months, I became a Consultant for the EMEA region. I
really appreciate the encouragement and close working environment and the rewards are reflective of the hard
work we put in. The commission structure is fantastic – spurring you on to hit your commission targets and meet
the company’s weekly, monthly and quarterly incentives: early finish for drinks on Fridays, city weekend breaks to
Liverpool and Amsterdam! We are all just working hard now to achieve the next one, will be worth it!

I began my career in recruitment with an open mind but a tainted view of recruitment from previous exposure in
my work life.
Over the last 6 years, we have worked hard and focused, as a collective, on a goal that encompassed not
reinventing the wheel but proving and communicating our robust team, as a leading management search authority
in our niche sector (without the usual carousel of reactive behaviour with a sugar icing to the client).
A job in recruitment is a roller coaster but it has been a true grit ride with a group of people who have a genuine
passion for the packaging sector together with drive and ardor – we actually like each other and our clients, so the
internal and external partnerships are our key point of difference. Due to our ethic and the support internally, my
career has advanced and my attitude to the industry has become one of determination and tenacity. To continually
strive to a genuine interest in the strategic development of; the market, our clients and our own team buy-in to our
methodology.
When it comes down to it, it’s really about listening and looking to the future for yourself and your professional
partnerships, rather than staying stagnant and hoping things will come to you. We have built knowledge, a current
and extensive network and have placed in a number of countries at senior level globally, this has resulted in an
engaging company and a brilliant environment to start and develop a recruitment career.
