In 2018 Investors in People were tasked by the Department for Education to develop a framework for businesses to adopt , that enables them to consistently deliver high quality apprenticeships . Following years of research and development with many stakeholders ( employers , trainers and apprentices ) in 2021 , We invest in apprentices was launched ;
“ Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to learn while you earn , opening up new and exciting career paths , from cyber security to accountancy . They will play a vital role in our Plan for Jobs , helping to create and protect jobs as we build back better after the pandemic .

When the UK was put into lockdown for the first time back in March 2020 nobody knew what to expect , or how to react . Rightly so for most businesses they only had one thing in mind ; survival .
But in amongst all the chaos it was warming to see how many businesses continued to put their people , and their people ’ s wellbeing just as high on their list of priorities .
