Early Childhood Care Practicum
The Early Childhood Education practicum offers students a leadership role in the on-site preschool. The students will develop a portfolio of their skills, plan and teach lessons, understand and practice confidentiality as it pertains to the teaching profession, meet the needs of students with special needs, maintain the safety of the students, practice professionalism, and demonstrate ethical behavior. As leaders in the preschool, practicum students are given responsibility over planning and implementing all lessons for the preschool children.
Prerequisite: Early Childhood Care Education II
