Introduction to Healthcare Science
The Introduction to Healthcare Science course will enable students to receive initial exposure to the many careers and technology skills necessary in the healthcare industry. The concepts of human growth and development, interaction with patients, health, wellness, and preventative care are discussed, as well as the legal and ethical responsibilities of today’s healthcare provider. Students will practice skills such as CPR and First Aid.
This is the first course within the Sports Medicine Pathway.
