WHAT IS IT ?

The Accounting Technology two-year Associate in Science Degree prepares graduates for careers in a wide range of fields in business , financial and governmental organizations such as accounts receivable or payable , bookkeeping , credit and collections , auditing and payroll .
You ’ ll learn to prepare and manage financial information using appropriate business software , and how to make sound decisions based on that information . As you learn the principles of corporate finances , you ’ ll also learn how to create and maintain a personal budget . Technical electives allow you to customize your focus in areas such as business , marketing , entrepreneurship and sales .
