Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources Halle Rhea - 12th Grade I am taking Horticulture Science because I love biology and I love learning about plant biol- ogy. This class has taught me how to take care of things that are very delicate. Be ready to work and get your hands dirty working in the soil. Principles of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources will allow students to develop knowledge and skills regarding career and educational opportunities, personal development, globalization, industry standards, details, practices, and expectations. Horticulture Science is designed to develop an understanding of common horticultural management practices as they relate to food and ornamental plant production. Floral Design is designed to develop students’ ability to identify and demonstrate the prin- ciples and techniques related to floral design as well as develop an understanding of the management of floral enterpris- es. Wildlife, Fisheries, and Ecology Management examines the management of game and non-game wildlife species, fish, and aqua crops and their ecological needs as related to current agricultural practices.
