Fashion Design Fashion Design I, within this context, in addition to developing technical knowledge and skills needed for success in the Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications Career Cluster®, students will be expect- ed to develop an understanding of the fashion industry with an emphasis on design and construction. Fashion Design II, students are able to create more com- plex design and continue their learning of the sewing ma- chine . They also focus on creating products for the school spirit store and learning the basics of running a business. Lisa Biscamp 12th Grade I am taking Advanced Fashion Design because I wanted to become a fashion designer, but I quickly learned I couldn’t sew. My advice is not to rush through your projects You will mess up and have to start over. 12
