College of Management Graduate Programs:
• MS, Accounting — The MS in Accounting at UMass Boston is designed to prepare students for rewarding careers
in the rapidly-growing and changing field of accounting. Upon completion of the MSA, students will qualify for the
Uniform Certified Public Accounting (CPA) Exam. The curriculum has been designed by the College of Management
Accounting and Finance (AF) faculty in consultation with the AF Department’s Advisory Board.
• MS, Finance — The MS in Finance program at UMass Boston provides a thorough graduate education in corporate
finance and investment. Admission to the program is highly-competitive and is based on several factors, including
prior academic record, professional experience, standardized test scores, essays, and recommendations. The curriculum has been designed by the College of Management Accounting and Finance faculty in consultation with the
AF Department’s Advisory Board to assist students in furthering careers in finance and in preparing for the Chartered
Financial Analyst (CFA) exam.
• MBA — The MBA program in the College of Management, ranked #48 MBA in North America by TopMBA and
#47 for Information Management, combines a strategically focused management curriculum, allowing students to
customize their experience by completing one or more of 14 specializations. Students can enter the program on a
full-time or part-time basis in the fall or spring semesters.

• Completed Online application
• Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended, undergraduate and graduate
• Current, professional resume
• Official GMAT or GRE scores
• 3 Letters of recommendations
• Two-Part Essay/Statement of Intent
