This year’s race takes in some of Cardiff’s
most iconic landmarks, from Cardiff Castle,
the Cardiff Barrage to the Wales Millennium
Centre. After the race why not explore and
discover Cardiff’s progress from a small
settlement, to the world’s busiest port, to
the modern capital city it is today.
Shopping
Cardiff is ranked as one of the UK’s top six
shopping cities, with its combination of
designer brands, high street names and
independent shops. Whilst the St. David’s
Centre and John Lewis give scale to the
city, the delightful Victorian and Edwardian
arcades add a distinctly Welsh flavour to a
day out shopping.
Thank you to everyone running
the Cardiff Half Marathon on
behalf of Age Cymru!
Dining
Cardiff knows how to offer good food in
tasteful surroundings, with hundreds of
places to eat and drink. From the al-fresco
dining options along Mill Lane to the
cosmopolitan Brewery Quarter to Mermaid
Quay’s wealth of eateries overlooking the
waterfront, there are dining options to suit
all tastes and budgets in Cardiff.
