Dutch driver Renger van der
Zande took the win in Prototype Challenge class, at the wheel of the #8
Starworks Motorsports ORECA FLM
09, for his third class, and first overall,
win. The class driver’s championship
went to Colin Braun and Jon Bennett
who won at Daytona, Sebring, Kansa
and Watkins Glen in the #54 CORE autosport ORECA FLM09.
German driver Christopher
Haase earned his first class win (GT
Daytona) in the #48 Paul Miller Racing
Audi R8 LMS that he co-drives with
British driver Matthew Bell and American Bryce Miller.
The GTD driver’s championship
was won by American driver Dane
Cameron, pilot of the #94 Turner Motorsport BMW Z4, after wins at Mazda
Raceway Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen,
Road America and Virginia International Raceway.
