It is also the year John Young “Jackie” Stewart was ‘discovered’ at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The 1960s were an unforgettable period. Culturally, socially, scientifically, the world was fast-paced and fast-changing. The clouds of the Second World War were finally beginning to lift, people looking forward rather than back.
