Prices The Median Sales Price in November was $ 159,000 , up 1.9 % from $ 156,000 in November of 2016 and up 4.1 % from 240 $ 152,750 last month . The Average Sales Price in November was $ 194,799 , up 7.4 % from $ 181,355 in November of 2016 and up 220 5.8 % from $ 184,155 last month . Inventory & MSI The Total Inventory of Properties available for sale as of November was 2,655 , down 3.7 % from 2,758 last month and down 20.3 % from 3,330 in November of last year . November 2017 Inventory was at its lowest level compared with November of 2016 and 2015 .
A comparatively lower MSI is more beneficial for sellers while a higher MSI is better for buyers . The November 2017 MSI of 6.2 months was at its lowest level compared with November of 2016 and 2015 .
