Fall Retreat Richmond, VA
appa phi's annual sisterhood fall retreat was a blast! Sisters arrived on September 6, 2013 at Paige Ercolano's home near Richmond, VA.
The house was settled against a lake, where sisters took a dip in the warm water or sat on the dock and enjoyed the warm weather. Sisters also enjoyed sitting on the open patio, listening to music while they talked and bonded. Some sisters even petted the two horses at the house, although they remained behind the fence in their pasture.
After sisters had finished arriving, they were fed pizza, chips, vegetables with dip along with a variety of sodas while they continued to socialize and bond. After dinner a dessert bar was set up, where sisters could scoop ice cream into a bowl and top it with sprinkles, different sauces (such as chocolate and caramel), or candy bars!
While they ate their desserts, sisters decorated bags that had their names on it with stickers and markers. The bags were a place for other sisters to drop their "warm and fuzzy" remarks they'd written for them throughout the night.
After bag decorating, sisters gathered together in the living room where "The Little Mermaid" was played; it has some Zeta Tau Alpha symbols in it, so it was a lot of fun to point those out to one another!
As the movie ended, sisters gathered together in a circle for the annual sisterhood circle; once that was over sisters found a place to sleep for the night.
In the morning breakfast was served, pictures were taken before sisters came back to school!
it was definitely an incredible night and bonding experience that will stick with the Kappa Phi ladies forever!
