Ten nonprofits in Sacramento, Placer, Amador and
Sonoma counties are receiving $120,000 from
American River Bank. Most of the grant is for each
organization’s existing programs, and $13,000 will
go to five of the organizations to participate in the
Impact Foundry’s Certified Sustainable training
program for management, outreach and leadership
development. Awardees include Big Brothers Big
Sisters of the Greater Sacramento Area, HomeAid
Sacramento, Nexus Youth & Family Services, River
City Food Bank, Sacramento CASA, and Women’s
Empowerment.
