usic Circus, now in its
66th year, is a beloved
Sacramento tradition. On
warm summer evenings, generations of
Sacramento audiences have gathered
to marvel at classic and new musicals
performed in the round. As Sacramento
experiences a downtown revitalization,
an exciting future is taking shape.
Music Circus, a key component of the
city’s cultural identity since 1951, is
part of that future, contributing to the
flavor of Sacramento’s performing arts
history by bringing some of Broadway’s
most talented actors, directors and
choreographers to the Wells Fargo
Pavilion.
California Musical Theatre also
presents its Broadway Sacramento
season from October through May at
the Community Center Theater. Music
Circus produces shows from-the-

ground-up, while Broadway Sacramento
features national touring productions.
Both seasons treat audiences to some
of the nation’s best musical theatre
performers. “Performing at Music
Circus is valued so highly within the
professional community that nationally
renowned actors come to Sacramento
specifically to take part,” says Scott Klier,
Executive Producer.
“We offer season-long and show-
specific sponsorship opportunities to
the business community, including
show program ads that reach a key
demographic,” says Klier. “We also
encourage businesses to buy at least a
pair of season tickets for entertaining
employees or clients, or discounted
group tickets (12 or more) for an ideal
employee outing. What better way to
reward employees than a summer night
out at Music Circus?”
