Smith Special Populations Center( 574-0574) and Sun Splash Family Waterpark, this 46-acre park also has a fitness area and walking trail, gazebo and the Kiwanis Gardens. This is also home base for the South Florida Canoe Kayak Club( SFCKC. org), which provides flatwater sprint canoe and kayak courses.

Boasting 97 preserved acres, this park showcases salt marsh and uplands ecosystems, as well as a native plant garden and butterfly house. The Liam J. Perk Memorial Playground is a new addition to the variety of attractions here, which also include nature trails, an observation tower, bike path and dog park. Gardening and environmental classes are offered here, and it is home to the annual Burrowing Owl Festival.
