LeeTran, Lee County’ s bus transit system, serves the Cape Coral area with routes that include Cape Coral Parkway, Santa Barbara Boulevard, Del Prado Boulevard, Veteran’ s Parkway, Country Club Boulevard and Pine Island Road. Single-ride, cash fares are $ 1.50 for adults and. 75 for riders 65 and over, disabled citizens and full-time students. Children under 42 inches in height ride for free. A variety of long-term passes are available. Hours are 5 a. m. to 9:45 p. m. Monday through Saturday with limited service on Sundays and no service on major holidays.
Transfer stations are located at: 47th Terrace at 8th Street and Coralwood Shopping Center.
Other transit services are available for those without access to other transportation, including the elderly and handicapped, primarily for medical appointments.
The Passport program, operated through LeeTran, is an advanced reservation, originto-destination service for persons with disabilities who are unable to use regular fixed-route public transit because of their disability. For information about services and eligibility: 533-0300.
