Cantrell Corner The Cantrell Center's Monthly Newsletter | MAY 2020 We congratulate Ken Smith, PTA, PRC on 6 years at the Cantrell Center! On March 3rd, we celebrated Ken Smith, PTA,PRC and his 6 year anniversary of working at the Cantrell Center. Ken became Postural Restoration Certified in 2018- a designation held by only 7 PTA's in the country. He and his wife, Jana, reside in Cordele and will be celebrating their 8 year wedding anniversary in July. Together, they have an almost 3 year old son, Rhett. Some of the things Ken enjoys most is hunting, fishing, spending time on the lake with his family, and being involved at his church. When asked what he loves most about the Cantrell Center, Ken responded, "I love the Cantrell Center for its brilliance. I am surrounded with brilliant minds that make me a better person and clinician every day." Congratulations on 6 wonderful years, Ken! The Cantrell Center donates 500 Cantrell Center Hoo-rag Headbands to our local medical workers The Cantrell Center is proud to partner with Naomi Rossan of A-OK Portables by donating Cantrell Center Hoo-rag headbands to the mask making effort for our local medical workers As medical workers' ears tire from constant wearing of masks, headbands with buttons to secure the mask's elastics straps have been in high demand. In cooperation with the Sewing for Middle Georgia Facebook mask-making group, Naomi delivered 500 headbands which we learned will be cut in half to provide relief to 1,000 medical workers right here in Middle Georgia.
