It will show you how to identify suitable networking opportunities and will provide some additional resources and support for you to access. TS IN YABILITY PO LO 10 TS IN Poster Fair 12.30pm-2.30pm Ingram 110 All physics students Join the IOP for our exclusive Café Physics event at the University of Kent. The event is designed specifically for students who would like to know more about a career in teaching physics. It is an informal drop in session for you to chat with the IOP, physics teachers and teacher training providers. We’ll explain how you can gain vital school experience through our free School Experience Programme and how you could receive £25,000 taxfree funding for your training. Free refreshments of tea, coffee and cake are provided. SECL students only Find out about SECL’s ‘In the Classroom’ modules. These modules provide students with the opportunity to combine an academic course with work experience, so they can gain credits towards their degree while working. Students are placed at a secondary school which will gives them an insight into a teaching career option. Even if it is not your chosen career path the experience will extend your abilities and enhance your future work opportunities. The session will include a talk from a local Religious Studies teacher on becoming a teacher and teaching Religious Studies in schools.
