Rachel Pilard has been working in
the Arts Sector for well over a
decade. Having discovered firsthand the difficulties of making a
break in to this popular industry,
how is it possible to not just survive
but thrive? Do the exciting
opportunities (working with top
selling artists, world tours, awards
ceremonies) make up for a relatively
low wage? Plus, with arts funding
not always guaranteed, what will the
work force look like in decades to
come? Come and join Rachel for a
lively discussion about the pros and
cons of working in one of the most
popular industries!

Why should I take part?
"Amazing and incredibly
useful. I got to hear from exstudents, what they did to get
to the position they are in now
and receive advice on how I
should best proceed in my
final year. I also met other
students who offered to share
some of their contacts that they
felt might be helpful for me to
gain some experience in an
area I am interested in."
