The brand new Alumni Spotlight
series provides students with an
opportunity to learn from the
experiences and expertise of our
alumni community through a
programme of talks. These
professionals have been in your
shoes; they too studied at Kent and
have now gone on to have exciting
and successful careers in a range
of academic disciplines and
industrial sectors. Moreover, this
opportunity will enable you to begin
thinking about the next step after
graduation, both in terms of your
career, and becoming part of a
varied and engaged alumni
community which is still active within
the University. Charlotte De Maria
studied English and American
Literature at Kent from 2007 and is
now an Account Manager for ITN in

The Careers Café is a networking
event with a difference! Kent alumni,
employers and staff members host
tables in the café, at which students
discuss topics to help them to
promote themselves to prospective
employers, learn how to network
and self-identify their skill set.
Students can then develop a
personal action plan with the
support of table hosts. The session
includes refreshments. Find out
more at
