Our app is a simple to use, unfussy, yet stylish tracking application that favours the paddler who wants to see the water in all it’s modes. Many tracking applications in the sporting world thrust social media to the front of their service, but we want to explore the water and breathe it all in, throughout the year. You can still share your journeys and your photographic evidence, but we feel screen-time on the water is a curious mixture. The act of grabbing your friends and your gear is where the real social media is. Paddle Logger is fully compatible with the Apple Watch, has accurate tracking for distance, route and speed, and lets you get on with your training, your exploration or your escapism and leave the screen for later. We have just released version three, our most effective iteration of the app, available to download now on the Apple App store. Most watersports tend to hibernate over the cold and dark months, favouring the warm spring a nd summer seasons for their uptake. The three paddlesports of canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, however, have the potential for all-year-round engagement. With some seasonally specific preparation, paddlers can enjoy the water during moody autumns and crisp winter days.
