Cannabis Market

Tinley believes that drinkable elixirs are among the healthiest and most delicious ways to enjoy cannabis. Tinley has recently announced that it has completed the buildout of its Phase 3 permanent facility in Long Beach, California. Tinley is not alone in the cannabis-infused space and it does face some competition from other companies. What better way to gauge how well Tinley is holding up other than directly comparing them. Let's take a look at Sproutly and Phivida as two of its competitors in the cannabis-infused drink market. Obviously, there are some differences here between the companies and their strategies, but for simplification purposes let's assume that they are more or less the same. With that being said let’s directly compare the price action between them on a chart so we can see how investors have been reacting to them.

Prices can be modified to the scale, but when we are dealing with companies that have similar share prices using the “same” scale can be helpful to gauge the nominal price fluctuations and amount provide more of a direct comparison. Using a scaled comparison might be helpful if you are comparing say Amazon stock prices to Tinley's (at least for now anyway). Using the same scale price comparison can be very helpful in comparing how your preferred stocks are holding up to its competitors in the space. While it is generally true that when the tides rise and fall all ships rise and fall with it, this holds to stocks as well when we talk about certain industries and sectors. While you might be a longer-term investor or can handle the shorter-term fluctuations, one thing you want to see is the stock in your portfolio doing as good or preferably better than its competitors. This performance can be observed by comparing your company to its competitors such as Tinley verse Sproutly and Phivida in this example. We can see that Tinley has been holding up much better than these competitors as of recently.
