CANNAINVESTOR Magazine U.S. Publicly Traded June/July 2018 | Page 70

1) Stay current on the road to legalization in Canada and CannaInvestor Magazine Canadian Edition has you covered. (CLICK HERE)

2) Stay current on the unpredictability of the Federal Administration with respect to cannabis.

3) Stay current on those economic matters that may spill over (trade wars, raising interest rates, rising inflation, etc).

4) Review your portfolio’s depth and breadth. The wide net of holdings approach may not hold true any longer depending on what is held. The cost of investment dollars spread too thin plus transaction costs may outweigh the gain of holding one or two from day 1 that take off – FOMO and bragging rights are not investment strategies.

5) HELIX TCS. Read the content in this edition and learn as much as you can. Forward thinking means being adaptive and that is key to success in this industry. If one thinks of cannabis as a controlled substance and if one thinks of cannabis has having a street market value where illegal trade is untraceable … then realizing the importance of the services provided by HLIX becomes self-evident.

6) And as always – vet your information sources. Canna-Investor Magazine has first mover advantage with proven industry leading content providers and strategies. The Canadian magazine’s writers tend to be CPAs, Lawyers, CEOs, Dr’s, etc. The odds of finding misleading information and misinformation on social media and other platforms may outweigh any benefit from landing on the pot of gold thread. Sorry, there is no magic pill you can swallow. Effort and commitment are the key to long term success.
