Larry Fenner: In 2013, I owned a Medical Dispensary in Washington State and I saw a need for genetics. So, in order to save the time it takes to cultivate a plant from start to finish, I thought it would be great to order clones already rooted. Through this method the grower would save an extreme amount of time. I created and marketed the World’s first live plant shipping container that had a built in LED light, to allow the plant to photosynthesize and remain healthy during shipment. I sold the company and IP to a publicly traded company, THC BioMed, in 2017.

CIM: You have experience in inventing products. Could you tell us about a product you invented and sold to a publicly traded Canadian company – Clone Shipper?

Larry Fenner: Currently all vape cartridge have one thing in common, all of which are gravity fed. The cartridges have limitations in the way they preform due to various reasons. Viscosity of bioproduct being the main cause. Another issue is a large percentage of these cartridges leak. Most Cartridges, Pods and Mods, need to be stored upright to avoid any type of leakage from the mouthpiece. Another issue would be that there is leftover bioproduct inside these gravity fed cartridges that cannot be consumed. We address all these issues with our technology.

CIM: What challenges do you see in the vape cartridge market?
