The court protection that forbids Federal resources from investigating and prosecuting only applies to those companies and individuals in lawful compliance. Unrelated, but in the same geography, is this interesting news story. Please remember, until charges are laid that lead to conviction, please refrain from listening to or enabling the bashers on boards and social media. As an investor, such a company at this time may have fallen outside of your acceptable risk parameters or threshold and it is that language you should consider using. It is also possible that you see a buying opportunity given the downward drifting share price since that event. However, it does serve as a reminder of the dangers of following social media and paid promoters. The company issued this press release presenting their side of events:

On Nov. 30, 2017, the CSPA Group Inc.'s manufacturing facility in Adelanto was investigated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's department. The purpose was to determine if the facility was using volatile extraction methods. On September 14, 2017, the City of Adelanto issued a Medical Marijuana Permit for volatile extraction and a business license along with a Certification of Occupancy signed by the San Bernardino County Fire Department. All permits and licenses continue to be in good standing for the facility. The San Bernardino Sheriff's position is that volatile extraction is not permissible until January 1, 2018; however, the facility is allowed to continue all other operations and will continue production with CO2 extracted ingredients.
