With the cannabis market set to reach up to $44 Billion by 2020, we can estimate that 10% of the total will be applied towards advertising/marketing, which makes this a $4.4B opportunity.

Social and political conditions force the cannabis community to use unconventional and outdated advertising methods. Mainstream advertising sources have strict guidelines that exclude cannabis companies from advertising digitally. We found that the majority of cannabis advertising focused on traditional print publication because of lack of sophisticated alternatives to reach larger audiences. Although print is a viable means to market, it has no trackable metrics or real time data for ROI and audience engagement and no direct correlation to ad performance and increased revenues.
