… also known as “separating the wheat from the chaff.” Because the vast majority of new businesses will just mosey along, providing a decent living for the founding entrepreneurs with plenty of personal growth — and that’s important — but never becoming really big.

On the other hand, a few young ventures WILL become multi-million dollar enterprises — and this could be you! And naturally, if you’re an early-stage speculative investor, you’ll naturally want to spot the future winners, avoiding those startups with little or no future.

I come across plenty of companies in the course of a month — startups and those more fully developed — and I can say there’s nothing accidental about future winners and those companies that aren’t so great.

Believe me, the positive and negative signs are everywhere — but rarely noticeable to the companies themselves. The founding management teams are usually locked into a set trajectory, for better or worse, and their future course is fairly predictable.

So which young companies are destined to be future cannabis winners? Which ones could maybe become giants? Here are some things to look for, with more coming in the next issue of CannaInvestor.
