You are based in Nevada, but recently you’ve expressed interest in California. Can you update us on any domestic expansion plans?
Sure. We announced recently we were opening up hemp potency testing labs in 3 locations around the country: Oregon, Arizona and North Carolina. Now that hemp is legal, hemp testing laws are also now being developed and will likely include safety testing as well. We are also planning on opening a cannabis and hemp-testing lab in California sometime in 2019.
Talk about your international expansion plans and Columbia?
We are intent on having a strong presence in Colombia. We have already hired a fantastic, Harvard educated agronomist from Colombia to oversee these operations and we are actively trying to build a Digipath Labs, Colombia. Of course, we are looking at any and all new international markets as an opportunity to expand the brand and bring even more value to shareholders. Colombia could supply 44% of the global demand for medical cannabis according to Andres Lopez, director of Colombia's National Drug Fund. Getting involved with international import and export is going to be the next step in our international growth.
