Many investors do not understand the cannabis testing business model in detail, could you explain what you do?

In almost every State where legal cannabis and hemp products are grown, produced and sold, third party testing for potency and safety are required in order to ensure that the product is what the label says it is, and that it is safe before it is sold to the cannabis consumer. Digipath provides that testing.

What is the importance of testing cannabis in a state legal environment and in the future, in a federally legal environment?

It’s extremely important. Every product that we use and consume, whether it’s food, water, milk, or even cigarettes, must be tested for quality assurance. Cannabis and hemp products are no exception. When cannabis becomes federally legal, the testing rules and regulations will probably be standardized throughout the country. Right now it’s a state-by-state basis and most states have similar but different regulations.

What do you see as the next significant catalyst for DIGP?

Opening in Colombia and international growth will certainly be a catalyst, as well as expansion into the hemp industry and opening more labs here in the states.
