CI: Who are your competitors?
HB: Leafly, Weedmaps, and MassRoots are among the most popular and successful apps in the industry today. Having already achieved hundreds of millions in revenue over the last few years. However, we could not consider these apps a direct competitor without taking a few things into consideration. First, our focus is the medical cannabis community not the recreational user like these other apps. Secondly, our platform was built to provide our users with a complete set of tools unlike these other apps where they focus on just one or two features. Lastly, the information you will find on the Healing Budz app comes from the firsthand knowledge of our amazing community of users which can only be gained through the decades of personal experience with this plant…not laboratory testing on animals.
CI: What advantages do you have over your competitors?
HB: Our passion for cannabis patients and the professionals in this amazing industry is what sets us apart at the onset. When you begin scratching the surface you will find that there are many noticeable differences between the Healing Budz app and the other apps out there. One of the biggest differences is this; considering the rapid growth of the legal marijuana industry in the US which easily topped $6 billion in sales last year and the fact that public support for legal cannabis is at an all-time high, we felt it was time to harness the significant breadth of knowledge of this sizable community. Unlike our competitors our content is crowd-sourced from the firsthand knowledge of patients, doctors, cannabis professionals and enthusiasts all over the world.
CI: What disadvantages do you have with your competitors and how do you plan on resolving those disadvantages?
HB: Our only disadvantage is the limited amount of capital resources we have had. However, we are resolving this problem in our current round of fund raising.
CI: Is your platform proprietary or patented?
HB: Currently our platform is only proprietary with several trademarks and copyrights already granted. Our software technology contains custom algorithms that are only available on the Healing Budz App.
