"Brian's family, wife Sally and daughter Linnea, are a supportive team for him. Sally is a teacher at a small holistic school, with just 24 kids between the grades K through 8. Linnea, age 12, is a former student of the same school. Linnea is already a Maine State Champion and Junior Olympian Swimmer, having medaled in the 50 yard Freestyle last year, also anchoring the championship Freestyle relay team. Brian's friends rallied around Linnea to sponsor her Junior Olympic bid in a crowd funding campaign, passing the proverbial hat around Bayside Bowl, the bowling center in Portland that Brian frequents on his time off.
