CannaInvestor Magazine: Can you explain your revenue model? How do you make money?

Cannalogue: The marketplace is the core of the revenue model. In Canada, we take a percentage of the sale price for each product sold on the platform. In the US for the hemp-derived CBD market, we keep what is left of the sale price after remitting the agreed upon distributor price to the producer. Expanding outward from the marketplace, there are multiple other streams of revenue.

Q

CannaInvestor Magazine: Any opportunities for other revenue (e.g. advertising)?

A

Cannalogue: In addition to the marketplace itself, many producers have asked about preferential ad space on our site via banners, landing page carousel, custom filters, and front-page ranking inside the actual marketplace which all lends to additional revenue using the current infrastructure. To keep costs down for our licensed producers right now, we are not charging any monthly user fees nor any fees to listing any amount of product on the platform, something that will likely change in the future as we grow. We built the entire platform in-house from scratch, so we can also function as an e-commerce SaaS platform for anyone wanting to sell anything, similar to Shopify or WooCommerce.

Q

CannaInvestor Magazine: Can you provide us with a revenue breakdown? In other words, what % of your revenues are derived from pharma, education, consulting, import export, wholesale, etc.?
