Cannalogue: Cannalogue is a combination of the words, ‘cannabis’ and ‘catalogue’. The name captures the spirit of what we’re providing: a catalogue of cannabis products.

CannaInvestor Magazine: Cannalogue is an online marketplace for medical Cannabis. What does that mean?

A

Cannalogue: Think of it like Amazon with healthcare and research.

One of the main problems in the Canadian medical cannabis system is that patients were locked into one licensed producer. We wanted to provide choice, value, and convenience for patients without needing to switch between producers. In addition to being a marketplace, we’ll also be studying the effects as we go along. Our technology platform is built in-house and globally scalable where we’ll be expanding to the US and other international markets.

CannaInvestor Magazine: Why did you decide to build the Cannalogue platform? What problems does it address? How does it provide solutions?

A

Cannalogue: Our mission is to not only make cannabis accessible, it is also to break the stigma associated with this plant-based medicine. We’re a physician-led organization that will drive the research forward with the goal of ending patient suffering through the many benefits of medical cannabis. We solve the problems of access, both on the patient and producer side.

In Canada, when a patient registers for medical cannabis, they are restricted to one licensed producer while the many licensed producers don’t have much for a distribution channel.
